Custom Faux Finishes

Superior faux finishing capabilities are what separate Creative Iron Solutions from the competition. We have perfected our coating techniques to enable us to reproduce factory finishes or create unique and beautiful faux finishes for interior or exterior iron work.   

Each of these finishes involves a multi-step process that includes electrostatically applying a base coat prior to applying the top coat.  Whether it’s replicating an existing finish or creating a completely new look, your satisfaction is our priority.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. The powder is applied electrostatically and then cured under heat to allow it to flow and form a "skin" on the iron.

Our finishing professionals have perfected the powder coating process for many different products. By combining our expertise with modern equipment, we are able to offer a large selection of colors and textures that are durable and available for both interior and exterior applications.

Electrostatic Painting

Creative Iron Solutions has continued to be an innovative leader in the electrostatic finishing industry by constantly evaluating products and procedures to ensure our customers receive only the highest quality service. We have over 30 years of electrostatic painting experience using water-bourns, epoxies and urethanes.  By using our state-of-the-art electrostatic equipment and high grade products, we are able to apply an even finish to all metal surfaces while emitting virtually no over-spray.   

The electrostatic process works especially well on ornamental ironwork due to its “wrapping” effect that results in a consistent and smooth finish.  There are a wide variety of colors to choose from including metallics.  In-shop and on-site services are available for both interior and exterior projects.
